Students will participate in weekly live online discussions as we explore some diseases and medical conditions that are common for a variety of large/farm animals. Additional carefully selected YouTube videos will be provided for additional learning after class. There are no requirements for homework, but I will make suggestions for ways to learn more about each species. I am a certified veterinary technician and veterinary educator. I have worked in the field in a mixed animal practice (Large and Small Animal) for 30+ years. I have a MEd from Colorado State University and I am now finishing up my second Master’s program and will have a Master of Veterinary Education (MVEd) from Lincoln Memorial University’s School of Veterinary Medicine by spring 2024. I have hands on experience in veterinary care of all of the species listed from both my personal and professional background. I enjoy sharing my love of veterinary medicine with learners of all ages!
