Students will learn about the first aspects of the Biology specification/curriculum for secondary school biology. The course objective is to develop strong critical skills and build a knowledge bank on the foundation specific to high school biology. Week 1 topics and Lessons structure *Live session 1 1. Students will get opportunities to share knowledge, ask questions and have paired discussions. Teaching styles and techniques include time-paired-share, discovery learning, lecturing, class discussions, video presentation and animation. No prior knowledge is needed, and although the lesson builds content, students can join at any point through the lesson, as lesson design does not test for prior learning.
Learning Goals
The student will improve their understanding of cell biology and organisation in plants and animals. Required practicals will also be carried and can be safely done at home
