Class Experience

US Grade 2 - 4
Beginner Level
In this fun and interactive ongoing course, we will explore a new topic in life science each week.

Each class will begin with an explanation of the theme, and learners will get a chance to share what they already know. Through photos, videos, games, and diagrams we will explore the topic in greater depth. Some weeks will include a short experiment to engage children in the scientific method. Learners will be encouraged to fill in their provided science journal and complete complementary worksheets.

Topics: (by week)
9/11: Living v. non-living things
9/18: Cells
9/25: Plants (structure/function and life cycle)

My teaching style is adaptable. Each class is different, so I always work to adapt to the needs of every student. Each learner is encouraged to engage to the extent that they are comfortable. My virtual classroom is a place for all levels and abilities.
