Do you love Science? Do you want to know more about yourself and how your body works? Do you have an interest in medical science like the kind nurses and doctors use? then this is the perfect class for you. In this weekly enrichment course, students will learn about the human body with the use of fun cartoons characters to represent the anatomy and biology being discussed because science and all learning should be fun. Each class will include a range of games, puzzles, discussions and hand on activities such as crayons, markers and other artistic materials. What is taught in this course? Some topics include: - Week 1 Aug 1 Lungs : Do you really need two lungs? - Week 2 Aug 7 Brain : Our brain creates out thoughts and feelings, can we control those - Week 3 Aug 14 Bones and Skeleton : Why do babies have more bones than adults? - Week 4 aug 21 Muscles: Muscles make us strong and how - Week 5 Aug 30Immune System: Out bodies defense against germs and virus ' - Week 6 sept 6 Heart: is it really where love comes from ?
