This session is scheduled as an ongoing class where we could meet just once or on a weekly basis During the session, we will focus on specific topics or work on homework issues. Preferably a few days before class, the parent or learner should share what we will need to cover so that I can prepare content to review and exercises to reinforce the material. Each class will begin with a discussion of the topic. Together, we will determine areas that need greater attention. The activities we may do to reinforce the topics could include worksheets or online quizzes. The class is scheduled in half hour blocks, but we could run 2 sessions back to back, if an hour is preferred. If there is not a time listed that works for your schedule, please message me and we can determine a mutually acceptable time.

I am a scientist turned stay at home mom. While getting my Master's degree in Biochemistry, I taught General Biology lab and an Introduction to Molecular Biology Research lab to undergraduates. I have worked as a medical laboratory technician in a hospital and as a biochemist in drug discovery and early phase clinical trials within the pharmaceutical industry. I left that role to stay at home and homeschool my 2e son. Since he was a different learner, we explored all ways of learning and trying to make it fun.
I began teaching online by teaching English to kids in China. I enjoyed it, but Outschool allows me to go back to my scientific roots and share it with others. I hope to design and deliver classes that will share my knowledge from working as a scientist and get learners as interested and excited about science as I am.Reviews
