Class Experience

Life on earth is incredibly diverse! Students in this 3-day camp do an in-depth dive into one phyla (group) of animals called Echinoderms. 
They learn interesting facts about star fish and their relatives including anatomy, evolution, taxonomy, behavior, communication and ecological value...and DRAW what they are learning about! My teaching style includes direct teaching using slides, class discussion, as well as time for drawing and chatting. Our drawings mix the Science details we are...

2 hours 30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
