Advanced Level
This is an advanced course. Learners in this course must have previously taken veterinary science courses on Outschool, or have previous veterinary knowledge from 4-H, camps, TV/books. In this course we will begin the first week with introductions, and course expectations. After that we will discuss what a vet may need in order to begin taking care of a patient. We will also explore the resources and other veterinary professionals a doctor counts on to care for and treat their patients....

My name is Denise Champagne and I am the the founder of Future Vet & Animal Science Academy. I am a certified veterinary technician with 30+ years in practice. I have a MEd from Colorado State University and and I am now finishing up my second Master’s program and will have a Master of Veterinary Education (MVEd) from Lincoln Memorial University’s School of Veterinary Medicine by spring 2024. I have been teaching in college programs in veterinary and equine programs for 13 + years. I have been teaching veterinary and equine science courses on Outschool since 2017. I am passionate about providing all of my learners, with the same passion for animals, an inclusive environment for them to learn, grow and reach their goals! I look forward to working with your learner to continue their quest for knowledge!
