Description

Class Experience

This goal of this social club is for kids to talk and connect while playing a fun game of Bingo. There will be a new Bingo theme each week and the discussion will begin with the theme topic.
Your unique individual themed Bingo card will be sent to you as a PDF link each week. You will find your bingo card in a PDF link (in blue) attached to a message to you under the "teacher" tab in the classroom. You may print the bingo card on a printer or save it to a second device and use the mark-up tool to mark it each time. You will use the same Bingo card for all rounds of the game. You may use whatever you wish to mark your printed card, but candy works great! :)
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
40 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
In this ongoing social club, we will have a mini scavenger hunt during our Bingo game time. The kids will be asked to go find an item or two around their home that typically relates to our theme of the week. We will use the item as a topic of discussion in class. I want you to be aware of it so you will know why your child may very briefly leave the class/screen. They will have 60 seconds to find the item I call out and return to class to share it with the group. The item I will call out will be very general in nature that fits the theme, but please tell your student not to stress if they do not find something related to the item in one minute. They can still come back to class and share their thoughts with us about the scavenger hunt topic. The mini scavenger hunt is just a fun way for us to share about ourselves and learn more about one another.
