Class Experience
Calling all bike riders! In this one-time class, students will learn how to be safe AND have fun when riding their bike. Join me as we learn: What to check on our bike before we leave The rules of the road Hand signals What different traffic signs means The best clothing to wear when riding our bike The importance of wearing a bike helmet We will play Simon Says to see how well the students are able to listen and follow directions, as this is an important part of being a responsible bike...
Learners will learn what traffic signs mean and how to navigate the rules of the road.
I have a Master's Degree in Public Health Education. I am certified to fit bike helmets and I have taught bike and pedestrian safety in public and private schools. I'm also an avid cyclist and have competed in 100 mile bike rides for charity.
