Teacher expertise and credentials
I'm offering this class because I believe kids should know how to properly care for their bikes. Bikes are a form of transportation that represent independence and freedom to move about the town, to get from a friend's home to the movie theater to wherever he/she wants to go. But with freedom and independence comes responsibility. And what better way than to teach kids how to care for and maintain their bikes. After all, a cared for bike means less money in repairs. Right? Yeaaahhh.
The online approach is fairly unique. You can, however, find all kinds of Youtube videos on various bike topics. Some vids are short and to the point, while others are fairly long. My approach, as the kids will see, is friendly, quirky, but certainly tailored toward their learning style and pace. If we need to spend a little extra time on something, we most certainly can. I do my best to make sure the kids have the information they need about their particular bike. Online resources are wonderful tools. I consider myself to be an extension of it, or vise versa.
Are you ready to get rowdy? Let's go!
