Description

Class Experience

By the time Learners leave this class, they should find themselves extremely comfortable in the program. Their confidence in their skills should have grown to the point where they can take what they have learned and produce digital art in almost any program (not just Krita).
As an experienced game designer and artist with multiple titles shipped both in the games and movie industry, I would like to help cultivate a new generation of artist and game designers while giving them the tools to be successful wherever their art takes them.

I've been teaching online for years now on other platforms and have taught over 3000 students, over 4500 individual classes for a total of 4000+ hours thus far!

Not only do I bring an enormous amount of experience and expertise to the table, I also love what I do and realize just how big of an honor it is when parents trust me to help educate their children. I always honor that trust with the best classroom experience I can provide.
Supply List: - A PC, Mac, Laptop, or Tablet with Krita installed on it. Krita works on Both PC and Macs Computers. It does NOT however work on Ipads. Tablets must run on either an Android or Windows OS to run Krita. For example the Samsung Galaxy Tab series. - Krita is 100% free to download and comes at no cost. You can download it at the following link: Krita Download for PC/Mac: https://krita.org/en/download/krita-desktop/ Krita Download for Android: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.krita -Krita is absolutely free. DO NOT PAY to download the program. The Microsoft Store for example, charges to download the program. Do not buy it from them. Instead use the Krita Android version found on the Google Play Store in the link above. - If you are using a tablet it MUST be Android or Windows compatible. Krita DOES NOT currently work on Ipads. Other than that, all you need is a stylus pen that works with your tablet. - If you are using a computer, some sort of drawing tablet or a drawing monitor is required. This cannot be done with a mouse. Below are some examples of both a tablet and a monitor. You don't have to buy or have these exact ones of course, they are simply to be used as examples of what you will need. Either one of these devices will work well. 50 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
