In this 9 week course, students will learn basic conversational Spanish in an asynchronous classroom setting. We will discuss topics such as introductions, present tense verbs, numbers, colors, days, months, and many more!
Class experience
In this class, students will learn basic conversational Spanish. Students do not need any prior Spanish knowledge for this course. This is a self-paced class, so there are no live meetings. Every week, students will have instructional videos to watch about the topics for the week. We will also interact with the language on Flipgrid and the class discussion board. Homework Offered
Students should expect to spend approximately 2-3 hours a week on their assignments and studying vocabulary.2 - 4 hours per week outside of class
Assessments Offered
Students will receive feedback on their written assignments and Flipgrid responses. They will also have vocabulary and concept quizzes which will give them immediate feedback.Grades Offered
Students will receive grades by request. In order to receive grades, students must send completed assignments to me. I will have a spreadsheet for grades where students and parents can track their progress.
