The test is coming. Your mom tells you that you need to study. You sit down and pull out the textbook and your notes. Now what? What should you do? How do you study? Come and learn about active studying techniques! This course will be interactive. Students will have opportunities to ask and answer questions. They will practice using each skill that we learn. We will learn skills like: - Creating and Using Flashcards - Studying with a Partner - Anticipating the Question - Creating & Using an Outline - Memorization Strategies (songs, acronyms, hand motions, etc.) We will also talk about general studying tips such as creating a good studying environment and organizing your time.

Please bring : - Paper - Pencil - Colored Pen or Highlighter - 4 Index Cards (or a paper cut into 4 squares)
