Description
Class Experience
Students will learn what a star is. Students will learn about the life cycle of a star. Students will learn about the different classes of main sequence stars as well as specific examples.
I am a substitute teacher and a tutor. I have experience in teaching multiple subjects in grades K-12, including ELA, Math, Science, as well as Humanities. I have a passion for space and for the Solar System that I enjoy sharing with students.
No homework will be assigned in the class.
Students need to bring paper as well as a pencil or pen to the class for note taking.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
Informal assessment, such as checking for understanding, will be used.
55 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Students will not need an account to access the NASA websites that they will be using during the student activity.
A Google Slides presentation will be used during the class.
