Did you know that turkeys were once worshipped by the Mayans? That it rains diamonds on Jupiter? That the CIA once tried to create spy cats? (Turns out cats don't listen.)  If you have a learner who loves discovering (and repeating!) facts such as these, then they will enjoy this class of random facts and fun!

Using a self-made PowerPoint presentation with photos, short video clips, and some low-stress pop quiz questions, we will dive into some of the most unbelievable facts in science and history. Students will have the opportunity to make predictions about these amazing facts and share any interesting facts they know as well. 

I have an interactive, engaging, and storytelling teaching style, and I accommodate all learners in the classroom. This class can be successfully taken by students of a wide range of abilities as text is both displayed and explained. I love strange and interesting stories from science and history, and I do my best to pass my passion for learning to my students.
