The Star Wars universe offers us the wonderful opportunity to experience a vast myriad of extraordinary planets and technologies as we follow our heroes through the Galaxy. Each new movie helps build a sense of wonder and makes the galaxy truly feel larger then life! But the really amazing thing is that every location in Star Wars and every cool gadget is inspired by real world places, people and technologies. Together we will travel across our own planet and learn about the amazing...
Students will broaden their understanding of geology, history, culture, science and technology as we use the amazing universe of Star Wars to learn valuable ideas and lessons that can be applied throughout life.
Nothing require, however if a student has a particular interest in a certain topic I may ask them to prepare a few fun facts that they may share with the rest of the class during the lesson!
Nothing is required. I know that many students learn well if they are able to have their writing or drawing equipment ready or even a few legos so they can build while they engage in the class, and I'm perfectly okay with this!
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
