Behavior! Emotional Maturity, Taking Out Anger on Others, to Poor Communication

Poor communication and lack of emotional maturity can cause us to lash out at those around us. Reacting quickly can mean we are not only saying things we should not, but in a way that lacks respect.

Class Experience

Learners will not be engaging in therapeutic conversation during this class.

Our behavior changes as we grow, that can be a positive or a negative. Our emotional maturity may cause us to take our anger out on others and treat others with a lack of respect or kindness.

In this class, we are going to discuss emotional maturity, taking out our anger on others, changing who we are or what we say to try and impress others and how much trouble each of these things can lead to. We will also cover how our anger changes how others see us and the things we may be missing out on because of our behavior.

Each video is between 9-12 minutes long. Your child is welcome to pause, rewatch and take notes. Since this is not a live class with interaction, all of the information can be presented in a shorter time frame. Thus making it more informative and easier for students to sit through.
Learning Goals
Students will learn new ways to communicate, listen and manage emotions.
