Behavior Analysis for Beginners: Why Do We Do What We Do?

In this one-time beginner psychology class, students will learn what defines behavior, what a behavior analyst does, and how to take data on behaviors that they can then analyze themselves- just like a behavior analyst would!

Description

Class Experience

This class is taught in English.
Students will improve their understanding of human behavior- specifically what in the environment determines why we do what we do as humans.
The homework assignment will be optional, as this course meets once. Learners have the choice to observe a family pet in order to analyze their behavior.
Supplies for this course: paper and pencil.
Due to the nature of meeting once, an informal assessment is conducted for this course in form of a fun review game at the end.
1 hour per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
No parental guidance needed for this course.
