Class Experience

Young children are the perfect age to learn to play the violin the Suzuki way! With over 27 years of experience teaching, Ms Jen will lead your child on a path to a lifetime of musical enjoyment. Following the Suzuki method of learning in bite sized pieces with lots of encouragement and praise, and learning by imitation...along with a healthy dose of fun of course....your 4-7 year old will beam with pride as they gain skills necessary for making beautiful music.

Ms Jen uses a proven method of I do, we-do, you-do to teach young students. Along with positive reinforcement, humor, and lots of fun games, students will remain engaged and learning. Students will learn the proper hold for both violin and bow, learn to make a beautiful sound, and learn the Twinkle Variations. These fundamental skills will establish a firm foundation for students to build upon in their musical endeavors.
