They will also learn to read basic rhythms and use tablature to read the music notes they will fingerpick. I believe it is important to teach...
Students will learn to fingerpick all notes in the C, E, and A strings, and strum the C, F, G7, and G chords. The class goal is to perform "I Lava You."
I am a professional musician and a State-Certified K-12 Music teacher based in Miami, Florida. I hold a Master’s Degree in Music Education and a Bachelor's in Violin Performance from Florida International University. I have worked with pre-school and school-aged children for over five years, and have taught group music lessons as well as private music lessons to hundreds of students. I am passionate about passing on the love and knowledge I have for music to all of my students.
Homework is practicing the pieces and techniques learned.
