Beginning to Read: Sight Words
In this course students age 4-7 will work on basic high-frequency words including (I, can, the, we, see, a, like, to, and). Students will engage in emergent readers and spelling/ reading games to help build a foundation for reading.

In this highly effective, incredibly engaging course, students will learn to read basic sight words. This will include reading and spelling the sight words I, can, the, we, see, a, like, and, to. The class will introduce emergent readers to kids. The course is taught through fun and engaging games. These games solidify the recognization of basic sight words. Every activity is planned for 3 minutes or less so that students stayed focused and engaged during the lesson. I use many props and total physical response so students are immersed in the lesson.
