I received a minor in the Spanish language with my bachelor degree (2011). Later, I went on to complete the seven-week level 5 Spanish course at Roca Blanca Spanish School in Catalotepec, Mexico (2018). I have taught group Spanish classes to a variety of ages ranging from preschool through high school over a period of six years, five years of which have been online. Additionally, I have been raising my children primarily in Spanish since 2016.

Each week, learners are encouraged to complete the following assignments to receive the maximum out of this class, retain the material, and have fun:
- Respond to one or more questions posed by the teacher in the instructional video.
- Read the week's story and sharing a recording of them doing so,
- Participate in the weekly game, and
- Complete the 1 to 3 worksheets practicing that week's phrases and vocabulary.
Some weeks I provide extra fun ways to practice as well, like optional games for learners to play on their own or with family.
Some weeks there are optional Kahoot review quizzes as well.

No live meetings, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
