This beginning Spanish class will boost your child's verb vocabulary in Spanish. We will learn 1-2 verbs per session with conjugations. We will work on recognizing the words and writing them. Each class will have several repetitions of each word to help the students commit them to memory. We will do a variety of activities to help remember the words including songs, chants, or acting them out. Some weeks we will have additional written practice that the student may choose to do after...
Students will learn correct verb usage in Spanish.
I have taught bilingual students at several grade levels for over 13 years. I live in a bilingual home and speak both English and Spanish on a daily basis.
Students will sometimes be provided with different written activities that they may complete between classes. The more the students practice the words, the more likely they will commit them to memory.
Please come prepared to class with paper and pencil. I recommend you begin a "verb notebook". We may occasionally need some basic supplies. I will post in the classroom if supplies are needed for a particular lesson. I may occasionally ask parents to print a page or two for use in class.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
