Beginner Level
Class Overview: This lively and interactive Spanish class is designed for children ages 7 to 12, using playful and familiar themes to make language learning both enjoyable and effective. Over the course of 8 weeks, students will explore a variety of everyday topics—such as Pets, Colors, Shapes, Numbers, Fruits and Vegetables, School, The House, Wild Animals, and Professions—all while building their Spanish vocabulary and communication skills. Each session is structured to ensure that students not only learn new words, but also gain confidence in using them. Through songs, crafts, storytelling, games, and role-play, children will immerse themselves in the Spanish language in a dynamic, hands-on environment. Example Class Session: Pets (Ages 7-12) In this 55-minute class, we will introduce vocabulary related to common household pets. Students will learn the names of animals, practice asking and answering simple questions about pets, and engage in creative activities like drawing their favorite animal companions. By the end of the class, children will feel more comfortable describing and talking about their pets in Spanish, setting a positive foundation for further language development.

Pets are animals that live with people at home. Some examples are dogs, cats, fish, and rabbits.
Draw or color different pets.
Learn the names of pets in Spanish.

Colors
Colors make everything more beautiful. Some colors are red, blue, yellow, and green.
Play a game to find objects in the classroom by their color.
Sing color songs like "De colores."

Shapes
Shapes are everywhere. There are circles, squares, triangles, and rectangles.
Identify shapes around the classroom.
Draw figures using shapes (e.g., a house with a triangle and a square).

Numbers help us count. We will learn from 1 to 10, or even more if we’re brave.
