In this class, we will work on hearing the beginning sounds in words. We will start with a song to help get our brains ready! Then we will play a game and try to guess the picture and its beginning sound!

In this class, we will be reviewing the beginning sounds of words. To start our review, we will listen to a song, and then we will play a game. In the game, the students will guess what the mystery word is and its beginning sound. We will work together in the game to figure out what the mystery picture is. After we have figured out the picture and its beginning sound, we will also review how to make the letter that makes that beginning sound. I will show them how to make the letter and...
Students will be able to identify the beginning sounds of words and write the letter to match.
I have been a kindergarten/1st grade teacher for 25 years!
No homework will be given.

Since this is a one time class, there will be no assessments.
45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
I will be using YouTube and Canva through screen share. Students will not need or have direct access to these websites. No outside links will be provided.
