Learners are encouraged to continue with their singing and acting!Class Experience
Pick your favorite song, and bring your performance to life! Stage expression, diction, projection, and a healthy vocal technique will all be taught to your little ones who love to sing. In this positive and encouraging atmosphere, we'll start out by doing a fun group warm-up together, and each student will then have the opportunity to sing their favorite song, and listen to their classmates! (Favorite songs can be any style: Broadway, Pop, Rock, Country). Kids will be able to sing one song each up to two times. Please keep songs under two mins, so we can get through everyone! No experience necessary, just an open mind and willingness to sing! Group songs may include "Take me out to the Ballgame", "Somewhere over the Rainbow", and "Do Re Mi". This one-time class is a great introduction to classic American songs, whether your child has sung before or looking to get started for the first time. Students may take the class as many times as they want to nail their favorite song!
Learning Goals
Students will learn severa; new songs incorporating healthy singing habits, proper diction and projection, and stage presence to perform on the big stage one day! There will be opportunities for solos and group singing. Students will also practice the art of listening and encouragement to their peers' performances.
