Learning how to sign the alphabet, simple words like eat, more, drink, please, thank you (etc), and how to spell their name. This is just an introduction class so it would be me showing them what to do and then having them copy me. I love interactions and questions and I am very experienced with online teaching as well as how to manage zoom and students. Students will be leave knowing how to sign the alphabet, simple words and phrases. This class is mainly to get their feet wet in sign language to see if they would like to continue.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
55 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
