In this 4 week class learners will continue to learn the basics of playing the recorder. They will practice proper finger placement, mouth & tongue placement, and breathing for recorder playing. Classes will include finger exercises to increase finger dexterity as well as tongue and breathing exercises to help learners produce the most beautiful sound they can on the recorder. Homework highly encouraged, though not required. Daily practice, even 5 minutes, will greatly impact improvement!
Learners should have a soprano recorder. Please let me know if you have questions about recorder type.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
30 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
