Does your child have an interest in playing an instrument?  This is a great first step to learning music notation and seeing if they are really interested, before making the big investment!  I teach in a very patient, fun, and engaging style.  No prior knowledge is needed.  This is a year-round program.  A learner can join and stop at any time.  

We will be learning about different instruments, learning to play the recorder, musical notation, focusing on the 7 musical notes in music, different rhythms, and musical vocabulary with fun musical games and activities.   After taking this class, students will start to internalize the beats so it comes naturally to them.   Every week, we will review concepts during the first 5 minutes.  This gives confidence to learners while reinforcing concepts and gives a background to new learners.
