Beginning Reading_TRIAL Class, Short Vowels

This is a trial class for my ongoing Simply Phonics Courses, try it out before you join one of my ongoing sessions.

Are you looking for a fun way to help your child with their beginning phonics skills? Join me and other students while we explore short vowels through a hands-on approach and finish off with an interactive game to review all of our new learning!  

Letter tiles will be provided once you are enrolled.  If you do not have a printer, these cards can easily be made by hand.

This class is for students who already know letter names, letter sounds, and know how hold and write with a pencil/Marker. This is the perfect class to help your child take their phonics skills to the next level (reading and writing CVC words).

For this lesson I will introduce the short 'a' sounds.  As a group we will practice building CVC words with the short 'a' sound using letter tiles (a handout will be provided for students to use).  After building each word with letter tiles, we will practice writing those words on our whiteboards.  Last, practice reading our new words by playing an interactive game!
