In this course, students will learn about blends, digraphs, word families, and more to strengthen their reading skills.
Class experience
We will start with a review of letter sounds, then progress into word families, digraphs, blends, r-controlled vowels, and finally, diphthongs. During each class, we will work on comprehension and meaning of new words. Students enjoy a variety of activities to learn new skills and apply them to reading as a whole. Instruction is differentiated for each individual learner to maximize success. Students will have 5 minutes to socialize at the end of class if we complete all our learning...
