In this class, we will work through encoding and decoding to support beginning readers. We will work through phonics skills in sequence to help students starting their reading journey.

Beginner Level
Together we will work through the steps of decoding and encoding. We will take time to learn spelling patterns and idetify them as we read and write. Students will learn CVC words, CVCe words, blends, and digraphs. We will practice reading fluency as well as writing words that have these patterns. This is a great start for young readers who need a little extra support.

Pre-Requisites
Students should know most of their letter sounds in isolation.
