Class Experience
Is your child expressing an interest in playing the piano? Come join this fun and exciting way to learn how to play the piano. I teach in a fun and engaging way that promotes self-confidence in their performance. Students love learning as a group, reinforcing concepts through observation of their peers. They also learn the proper etiquette of listening to others perform and how to perform themselves. No prior knowledge is needed. Any piano or keyboard can be used for this...
Students will learn the following: - to read music - know all the names of the white keys on the piano - perform at least 5 songs on the piano
I have taught music for over 35 years and specialize in the beginner to make learning fun!
Learners should practice the song learned in class. I suggest seeing if your child goes up to the piano on their own during the first week. If they do, allow them to practice as they desire. Many students tend to practice more often at this age if they practice a few minutes at one time, and do not make them practice a longer block of time.
Learners will need to print the songs prior to each class.
Each learner will receive a certificate at the end of completing the course
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
