Beginning Phonics Skills: 1 Week Review of Reading and Writing CVC Words!
In this one week class, students will review all of the short vowel sounds and practice reading and writing CVC words with songs, white boards, decodable readers and bingo!

Description
Class Experience
Students will improve their fluency in reading and writing CVC words with the short vowel sounds.
I have spent the last 8 years in the classroom teaching grades K-2. I have a lot of experience teaching phonics and phonemic awareness skills as they are so critical to the beginning years of a child's education. Through professional development and my own experiences with children in the classroom, I am confident in my ability to provide engaging, meaningful, and impactful activities to help your child become a strong reader!
Students will need: -a white board, marker, and eraser - bingo board printed for the last class - pieces to cover spots on the bingo board (small pieces of torn paper, paper clips, mini erasers work well if you need ideas!)
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
2 hours 30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
