Beginning Phonics Long and Short Vowels is an exciting class for the beginning English learner. Students will learn long and short vowels as well as read a short story to identify them. Students will master long and short vowels with activities and reading. This class will be taught using the I do, we do, you do method. Student output will be encouraged and students will be given positive/constructive feedback. Students should have basic English language skills before attending class, but this is not required. Students are encouraged to listen and repeat after the teacher. *ESL students welcome and encouraged to join!

Students will be able to say and identify short and long vowel words.
Students will be able to complete extension activities circling short and long vowel words.
