All communication from your child will be met with communication back from me within a couple of school days, but no longer than one week. P L E A S E N O T E : 👟I recommend your child be dressed for physical activity when partaking in movement breaks. 💧Having a water bottle handy would also be beneficial 💪🏻No previous experience or learning required for this course I am so excited to get to know your student and help them learn about nutrition and the food groups! Learning Goals
Students will gain a full understanding of basic nutrition including the five food groups, how food helps the body and serving amounts per day. Students will also develop a basic understanding of the energy formula, energy in/energy out.

In addition to the content, students will have lots of opportunities for movement breaks.
🚨 NOTE: Students have the option to partake in brain break/exercise videos. Nothing is needed except space to move, a water bottle and a smile!

I am a Health and Fitness specialist, who has taught nearly twenty years at the elementary levels. I genuinely love working with students and helping them learn about their own health, fitness and well-being. I have a degree in education with a masters in physical education.
