This 12-session course is designed to build a strong foundation for learners who are new to music theory. This class is perfect for the student who learning an instrument, would like to learn an instrument, or who loves to sing! Equivalent to 1 semester of theory.
Class experience
This class is a fantastic way for your learner to begin their journey into music. We will approach music in a fun and practical way that is great for beginners. This course will introduce learners to the staff, treble and bass clefs, rhythm, musical and rhythmic notation, dynamics, and time signatures. I do grade the homework assignments. Final grades are offered, upon request. Letter grades are calculated based on a percentage taken from homework assessments and final project. A certificate of completion will be available, upon request.
