In this lesson we will practice saying and sounding out the letter sounds. We will focus on letters B, P, S, T and A. The class will start with a hello song and a short video of Baby Shark and the letters. Students will be encouraged to sing along. We will practice sounding out all the letters and then play games focusing on letters B, P, S,T, A. Some of the games include; I Spy, Letter Freeze Dance, Letter Wheel of Sound and more. The class will be interactive and students will be encouraged to participate. My goal is to build confidence in my students and get them prepared to start reading.
Learning Goals
Students will learn letter names and sounds and be able to pick pictures starting with letters B, P, T, S and A.
