Class Experience

The student will be learning the letters name, sound, and how to write the letters.
I have a dual degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education. I am a licensed teacher in the state of Utah. I have taught Preschool through 3rd grade and have loved every grade.
This class does not have homework. You will get handouts for the class that you can use to practice if you would like.
You will need the printouts for class. You will also need playdough. If you wish to use the handouts over and over you will need a sheet protector and a marker. Your child will need something to write with. Markers and crayons are usually easier for children to hold at first. If your child is ready to use a pencil they are welcome to use a pencil in class as well.
The assessment for this class is informal. I will be checking the children's work as they are working in class.
40 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Since this class is for such young children. Some children might need you to sit with them and help them as they are learning to write.
