In this class, we will meet twice to learn the very basics of knitting. Please send me a class request if interested.
Class experience
Knitting is such a fun and relaxing activity. I find it is a great way to relieve stress. In this class, you will learn the basics of knitting. Week 1 will cover casting on. I will teach you different ways to cast on. If students are able to learn how to cast on quickly, we will start working on the basic stitch. During week 2 we will practice the basic stitch. knitting needles (size 5-7), cotton yarn weight 4, a plastic sewing needle, and scissors. Students will need knitting needles (size 5-7), single ply yarn, a plastic sewing needle, and scissors. Depending on how fast your student catches on, the class might not take as long as stated. I will provide videos with how to instructions, and extra lessons if needed.
