Class Experience

Students will learn everything they need to know to get started playing the guitar quickly, including basic music theory and suggested practice routines.

Ms. LoPrete has a B.A. in Music Performance, Classical Guitar, M.A. in Music Education, M.A. in Music Business. She has taught students of all ages both individually and in a class setting for over 30 years. She has owned her own private teaching studio and has experience teaching in public school
Practice of at least 30 minutes a day is required for maximum benefit.
Assessments are informal based on their demonstration of each concept the following week.
45 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 4+ hours per week outside of class.
Students will need a guitar of their own and a tuner.
