We will first practice rhythm and switch between the different chords, review the prior weeks' chords, and then play a song that uses the chords we learned. Overview of the schedule: Week #1: Learn the difference between keys, finger position, find middle C, find other notes, and read their musical notation, C and F Chords Week #2: Learn C Major on the right hand, Learn the bass notes for C Major with the left hand, G chord Week #3: Review chords, learn song with scales and song, learn A minor Week #4: Bring everything that we learned together full circle, play 4 chord song Depending on each individual class, students may be able to learn additional chords and material. Students will actively play the piano throughout the course. I will check for understanding throughout the lesson. This is a fun class. My teaching style is positive and encouraging.
