Have you wondered about your genealogy? What countries did your family come from? In this one-time class, students will learn how to start searching their family tree. Students will learn the steps involved in researching genealogy. A resource list of websites will be included in a handout. These websites are ones that I have found useful and are free to use. This class will start students in the right direction to research and find more information about their family trees. Join us to learn how to research your genealogy!

Teacher expertise and credentials
I have a Masters in Education degree from Azusa Pacific University. I have a current teaching credential to teach all K-8 subjects, Reading Endorsement, K-12 music, and K-12 ESL. I have taken additional workshops on how to teach reading and writing to elementary students. I have taught reading and writing in public schools, private schools, and at homeschool co-ops over the past 20 years.
I have been researching and learning all about genealogy since 2000. I have attended classes and have visited many genealogy libraries to gain more knowledge on researching genealogy.
