Description
Class Experience
In this class, students will learn the ins and outs of writing creative fiction. During our time, we will learn about how to come up with ideas and story boarding. Next, we will work in creating characters and setting. Students will fill out an outline with their story ideas and work on formatting their story with a timeline. We will create rough drafts that we share in class. The students will give each other input and ideas on each other's stories. The rough drafts will be used to create a...
Students will learn how to structure their writing and create clear concepts as well as proper grammar, punctuation, spelling,and story format.
I have a minor in British literature. I am also a published author. I have been writing for a long time and enjoy it greatly.
Students will work on word definitions as well as their rough drafts and final drafts outside of class.
Outlines and story boarding graphs will be provided by the teacher. Students will need paper for note taking and their story drafts as well as pencils.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Learner progress will be assessed based on the final piece of writing and story development overall.
