Bonsai is an ancient art from Asia and we will discover the history of this art as we learn how to create and maintain bonsai of our own. This class is an introduction class. We will examine both traditional and non-traditional styles and techniques for shaping and cultivating living artwork. I have 22 years of experience in creating and training bonsai. I have taught many the fine art of bonsai over those years.
It is optional to create a bonsai with me in class as the process is messy and a place to work might not be immediately available. This is a list of basic materials for when the student is ready to create a bonsai of their own.
