Description

Class Experience

By the end of the course, students will be able to communicate with American Sign Language and participate in small talk. 
Fingerspell for 10 minutes a day
Review all vocab at least one time a day. 
Complete the Flipgrid video assignment. Then, respond to at least one other student’s video.
 1 file available upon enrollment
Students will be given a syllabus upon registration with a specific list of course topics for each class period, homework assignments, and specific vocabulary to review/study after each class session. Students need access to a computer and a camera to participate in this course.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
Flipgrid Videos
Expressive Conversations
Receptive Test
50 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
Students are expected to use facial expressions while communicating in American Sign Language. Please make sure your student is aware and comfortable with this!
