In this ongoing course, I will teach the basics of tap, short tap dance routines and we will play fun dance games! Tap shoes NOT needed!
Class experience
In this ongoing class, I will teach beginning tap steps and use those steps to teach dance routines set to songs from Broadway shows and movie musicals. Dancers will learn how to perform the steps in isolation and put them into combinations. Each class I will teach part of a new dance routine so we can see our skills put to use in a real tap dance! I have over 30 years of dance experience, and over 10 years of teaching and choreographing experience. I work in local theaters with children and adults, and bring drama and dance programs to local schools. I am excited to share my love of dance with your child!
