Teacher expertise and credentials
I am a primary teacher and have been teaching age 5-12 since 2005. Before this and up until 4 years ago I was leader in charge of Girls Brigade - youth organisation in the church for 30 years.
I teach art classes using a variety of mediums. My preference is soft pastels but I also work with acrylic, oil, watercolour and pencils. I took up painting during Covid Lockdown but always had a love of art. My preference is landscapes and seascapes but recently I have been trying different projects.
I took up my art to help destress myself and find that it is a great way to express yourself and your feelings, to rebalance your inner self, to improve problem solving and other skills. Anyone can do it and everyone should find time to express themselves creatively.
I love to travel and have been to over 60 countries in the world and have two cats that I live with, along with my sister, called Lola and Lily - both of which like to sleep with me in a single bed. It's cosy.
