Class Experience

Students will learn how to relax their bodies.
They will learn different breathing techniques.
They will learn tapping techniques to release emotion and balance the nervous system.
They will learn how to visualize things in their mind. Visualization can be used in many different ways, for example improving sports performance, to embody playing a musical instrument, and visualizing a future result you desire.
They will learn about their inner world, how to calm themselves in challenging times and balance their own emotions.
I've been meditating personally for 20 years. I believe meditation is a very important skill for everyone to have. I also have a background leading mind-body-spirit movement classes. I currently teach personal growth courses for adults on these same topics. I've recently created a Mindfulness and Meditation for Beginners Course for adults. It is never too early to get exposure to meditation and begin learning.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Meditation is a practice that develops over time. Every time you practice you improve in different ways and learn new things about yourself. There is no outside assessment.
25 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
