Class Experience

Students will improve their visual/verbal recognition of the Japanese Hiragana writing system.
My interest in language started at about 8 years old, but for many years, learning materials for me were scarce. I began self-studying the Japanese language, as well as other languages in 2016 in order to communicate with my ESL (English as a Second Language) students. Over the years, I’ve taken private tutoring lessons from native and non-native speakers, as well as learned a thing or two from students in Japan and several other countries. I hope to take my experience and share it with children so that they may read more books, experience more worldly perspectives, and connect with more people.
The instructor will be using an iPad and ProCreate to complete this course. Students may record their drawings on a sketchbook, notebook, white board etc. Students may also work with the teacher directly on the Zoom app.
35 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Teacher will be using Procreate on screen share or WhiteBoard over ZOOM.
